Description

Already Villa Della Longa (with coat of arms on the facade), it was later Lanfranchi, Del Guerra, Leoni and Manetti.
The villa was built in the late fifteenth century by Lanfranchi, noble Pisan family, during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, a period during which the number of residences in the area crespinese, born as hunting lodges, were transformed into luxurious villas and large companies agricultural, was subject to several extensions and renovations.
The solid construction is located on a scenic hill. The front has three levels, while the rear on two levels and has a double stone staircase. The windows of the facade of the main floor are characterized by a stone-arched with a triangular pediment, clearly neoclassical, probably affixed to the beginning of the twentieth century.
The side entrance is marked by a spectacular double brick ramp that leads to an elaborate entrance gate. The interior of the main floor is occupied by a large living room with neoclassical decoration. On the first floor is the room known as Michelangelo.
The tree-lined avenue leading to the villa dates from the middle of the twentieth century.
